The Journal Of The Economic Science Association-jesa is dedicated to the use of experimental economic methods to advance theoretical, empirical, methodological and policy-related knowledge. Advocate for pioneering and advancing research with laboratory and field methods to solve important economic problems that are difficult to examine using naturally occurring data. Open to all fields of study in economics and where economics intersects with other disciplines, including but not limited to psychology, political science, statistics, finance, marketing, and organizational behavior. There will be a focus on publishing shorter papers (original articles, methodological articles, surveys, reviews of recently published experimental papers) and important but underrepresented article types in the experimental literature (i.e., replication, small extensions, robustness tests, meta-analyses, and good experimental design, even if zero results are obtained).
Special issues on special topics of economic experiments will be published on a regular basis, including a call for articles from leading scholars in and outside experimental economics. Advance experimental economics by bringing together innovative research that meets professional standards for experimental methods but does not have editorial bias in a particular direction. All papers will be reviewed through a standard anonymous review process, and all accepted manuscripts will be approved by two editors. Authors should submit separate data and explanatory appendices, which will be attached to the journal's web page after publication.
