JDR Clinical&Translational Research is an internationally peer-reviewed journal focused on the fields of dentistry, oral surgery, and medicine. The magazine aims to promote the clinical translation of dental research, that is, to transform basic scientific research results into treatment methods and strategies that can be used in clinical practice. The journal covers a wide range of research topics, including but not limited to oral health, periodontal disease, oral pathology, restorative dentistry, orthodontics, as well as oral biology and molecular genetics.

The magazine emphasizes the publication of original research that can promote the advancement of dental science. The journal encourages the submission of research with potential clinical applications, including the development of new treatment methods, diagnostic tools, and improvements to existing treatment strategies. In addition, journals also publish review articles to summarize the latest research progress and future research directions in a certain field. The journal published a study on the impact of chewing sugar free gum on oral health. This study explored the relationship between chewing sugar free gum and the incidence rate of dental caries, and provided insights on how to prevent oral diseases through daily behaviors.
